I am trying to get a settlement account from Absa for the vehicle finance for my late husband AJ Espach. I would like to downscale my car thus clearing my vehicle finance with Absa. The estate lawyer Jaco Van Rensburg who is dealing with my late husbands estate contacted Absa 10 days ago and was told he would be emailed the settlement statement in 48hrs. It is now 10 days later and still no such statement has been emailed to us. My lawyer keeps contacting Absa to only be told pls be patient it is on its way. Then why tell us 48hrs?
