I requested a copy of my original NATIS document from ABSA on the 26/02/2013 from the call centre. I was told that they will fax and email me the document in order for me to sell my car, within 3-5 days. I still have not received it. When I phoned again today, I had to hold on for 14 minutes before my call was attended to and ABSA have no "record" of me requesting the documentation even though I received a ref nr on the day of my request and they even emailed me the banking details in order to deposit the settlement amount.

I have had such a bad experience with the selling of my car and the financing of my new vehicle, that I am looking to find new finance elsewhere and close my ABSA account as this is not the type of service I would like to receive from my bank.

The person who bought my car still has not received the original NATIS documentation - as his financial institution is the new owner of the vehicle, because ABSA is so useless. I am so ashamed to actually say I bank with ABSA as I am utterly disappointed in their service and aftercare.
