What a joke Standard Bank insurance is!!! It took more than two weeks for my burst geyser to be replaced. During those two weeks I had friends from PE staying with me. What a nightmare. I have now been left with rotten old stinking wet carpets which my friends from Australia had to endure for 5 weeks. I am now replacing my 100% wool damaged carpets and submitting the bill to Standard Bank. It is, of course, Christmas season now and the worst time of year to get someone in. I have to work full time at my shop and my daughter is home from university. What fun to have to live in a house which is in such a state. I am disgusted and will be changing insurance as soon as the carpets have been paid for!!! I will no longer stand to be treated like this. What ever happened to customer service???
