I have read through the "contract" that my husband supposedly has with Loan Discovery, and it says that you have to pay a fee if you want services, no fee, no services. Nowhere does it specify that you need to cancel if you don't want it. We did not pay them, and they did not render any services. After reading a couple of reports, it is evident that all the amounts paid by the people complaining, is exactly the same amount we have to pay R988.13 (wonderfull how the legal fees etc came to the exact amount, I myself work with handovers every day, and I know this is impossible as the legal fees are usually charged per phonecall and letter etc that they have to use to contact you) We are paying the amount to keep my husband from being blacklisted, and then we are forwarding this to both a lawyer, and the Ombudsman, cause it is evident that Loan Discovery and Credit Intel is working together on this to get money from people that is not owed.
