Upon applying for a loan with Loans Connect, a loan which I was denied due to my 'high-risk profile', despite my completely clean credit record, I was handed over to the Credit Intel within days of applying. I agreed that I had to pay the basic 'consultation' fee' of R150, but I NEVER entered into any sort of agreement with this shoddy Credit Intel. I was charged for being handed over and I am now charged R17.00 every time I send an email to this 'debt collection agency'. I was never notified that I was paying for each email I send and now the account is sitting at double what it was. Surely you can't hand someone over within two weeks of inquiring about a loan and charge them for every single time you communicate. These people are a bunch of blood-sucking artists and will charge you for every 'i' dotted and 't' crossed. I refuse to pay for being handed over when there were no grounds for being handed over and I am certainly not paying for their emails.
