Trying to get a settlement amount from Nedbank so that I can settle outstanding debt and move on with my life is proving to be a nightmare. In two instances, the settlement amounts they have given me are more than the initial loan amounts at inception. How is this possible? What happened to the payments that were made? Why are they not responding intelligently to the letter I sent them in response? Who will be responsible for the interest being added to the accounts while I wait for assistance? I would have thought that in this current economic climate anyone who is owed money would jump at the opportunity of repayment. Further to numerous calls and emails to Ned bank call center, I am starting wonder WHY a reasonable request and offer to settle is so difficult? Please help!! I have been a Nedbank client for over 20 years and this current situation will ensure that once my debts are settled, I continue banking elsewhere!
