I registered for debt teview in 2009 because of the harassment I used to get from Nedbank with regards to my personal loan that I was paying for but there was a shortfall because I had financial problems. I have been paying for my credit cards just like I did with the other banks eg my std bank card owed R17k (with interest accumulated from debt reviews) when I requested a settlement feel the charged me 8k because I wanted to close the account. Nedbank is changing horrifying amounts. The accounts showed as written off on my profile but I still wanted to negotiate and close them off. Now I agreed with the other consumers (Facebook page) that the bank is concerned about only making money not freeing consumers from their old debts even when they want to correct the situation without being chased to pay. I had 3 card's the one I settled last week because the settlement fee was fair and reasonable
