This time I have truly had it with ABSA, is the word. I have been banking with ABSA for years and each time I need something from ABSA it gets declined.. I can never go to ABSA with confidence of knowing my bank will back me up. Each time I am told that I am high risk, despite meeting my commitments, having a homeloan and car finance with them. At the moment I have a personal loan which is up to date with ABSA, 80% has been paid off and suddenly I am running out of funds with a renovations project I am bust with for my ABSA funded house. I then went to ABSA requesting that they top up my loan, i will most likely end up around the same indtallment I am paying now - the answer came back a no bcus I am high risk. I think the problem with ABSA is that all their decisions are made by the computer and there is never common sense to it.. This bank just does not value loyalty. I have a clean credit record, a stable income and even extra jobs some months, pay good fees to absa yet they cannot help when called upon.
Well I am now looking for a bew bank, that will support me, treat me as an individual not another account holder. Why dont u take your platinum accnt if i am high risk..
