On 30 October I was approved for a Smart device from FNB, from then I have received sms'es that they do not have stock. If I need information I have to call them, and the only answer is: "We understand you are upset, however we apologize we don't have stock". Certainly with launching devices the marketing team, and management of the program needs to ensure that there is enough stock and/or products for the demand. The 15 day delivery period has passed twice, and still to date the only response is: "We have no stock". I would like to add that last week on the 20th, I spoke to a pleasant guy who said they were receiving stock on Friday, 22 November, and that I should receive stock by Tuesday latest. Even the Manager of the Smart Device department told me that I should maybe look at another bank. I would urge everyone, and I will urge everyone to stay away from FNB and empty promises. Beep Bank does not offer what FNB does, but at least they don't offer empty promises.
