Incorrect information?

After i submitted a complaint last week regarding the slow response from FNB regarding a smart device i immediately received a call to apologize and said they would immediately investigate and get back to me. Later the same day i got a call to say that my device will be dispatched the next day (Friday) and that the courier company will be in contact. Well, still no contact BUT i now have just received an SMS from FNB: FNB :-) Your smart device application has been approved. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a stock shortage and will issue a delivery instruction as soon as stock becomes available. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. FNB a div of FRB Ltd
Seriously? What is going on here? Is my device NOT on its way to me as stated by one of you representatives?
