Disappointing service

I have been a loyal standard bank customer for years, I have a cheque account for many years and recently took out a home loan with standard bank.
I recently decided to want to apply for a credit card and thought it was a simple easy process to my shock it turned out to be so frustrating and I cant seem to understand why?

I did an application on the Internet on the 18/11/2013 and I decided to put in the address for my new house that i was moving into on the 30/11/2013 as that is where I will be living and receiving my post, I didn't know this was going to be the reason for my application to be declined given that I was already an existing client.

I was told to re-do the application which I did on the 21/11/2013 and was told today the 25/11/2013 that there is no 2nd application received, when u speak the call centre agents they are very rude and not very helpful, I don't understand what the problem is I am not a new client, I have other products with u guys I am just adding another product if u don't want the business then i will gladly take my business elsewhere and also take the rest of my accounts as well, very disappointed in the manner I was treated.
