On 2 October 2013 I requested that my ABSA garage card be stopped/cancelled. I am charged monthly for this card and the fees are rediculous. The SMS'es I receive on a monthly basis states that R11.00 is charged for ANNUAL card fee. I had to pay up the outstanding amount owed on the card. After this was done I requested the agent to send me an email/written confirmation that my card has been stopped/cancelled. The agent refused stating that it is not procedure for them to do this.
I received another SMS on 2 November 2013 informing me that ANOTHER R11.00 for ANNUAL card fee is charged against my garage card (that is supposed to be cancelled). When I checked the online statement is states that >R12.00 is STILL owed to ABSA on this card. PLEASE CANCEL this card as I requested. I refuse to continue to pay exhorbitant fees to you.
