So I decide to run to Game in my lunch (half) hour. Get everything i need and go to a cashier to pay with my Game card only to discover its been blocked. The cashier cant understand why its blocked and management is of no help either as I have almost 9 x more credit than i need to buy the items I've selected. They phone the authorisation department and turns out because some time ago I purchased goods to the value of more than R4000 my card has been blocked. Apparently its some safety thing, and i understand that, but the courteous thing to do was to have informed me about the block then i would have come and sorted out the stupid thing a long time ago. Instead what happens... I have to stand like an and feel like a criminal giving people my details so that i can get access to the credit that they (Game) have already given me. It was very embarrassing and time consuming. Apparently they called me after i made the purchase of over R4000, but they were unable to get a hold of me. This was months ago. Could they not get a hold of me in all this time? This policy (which I was told cannot be made public knowledge for safety reasons) leaves the consumer feeling like a total
