We needed to make three payments to the First National bank of Botswana. We were seated in a small waiting area with four chairs which resulted in me having to stand because I had no where to sit. We waited for a half an hour to finally be helped and just when we started having progress with the documents the lady excused herself to the bathroom for 10 minutes. When she came back and started working on the documents she asked us to fill in the name of the account that wasn't on the paper and when we checked the name was in fact on the document. We waited for more than a hour for her to finish them and in came a man asking us how long we were waiting. When we told him he walked out. After a while he came back and told us that he went to FNB and was helped within 5 minutes and that he was definitely doing his business their from now on. After my friend finally lost his temper and went to get the manager they told us that they can E-mail us the documents after they processed it. After waiting for almost 2 hours to find out it was unnecessary in the first place. This is the worst service I've had in a long time!!!Is this the way Standard bank expects to keep their clients?
