Application declined due to inaccurate information

Applied for a Discovery Card Online. Received an e-mail that my application was declined due to me being over extended. What!!! Phoned the call centre only to be told that I cannot afford a card due to my liabilities exceeding my income. I disputed this and requested a credit report from TransUnion immediately. Went through this and did not find any adverse info. Phoned the call centre back to determine where they got this info from. So went through the "details"of my expenses that I have NOT supplied to them only to find out that they have taken into account two vehicle finance agreements that have been settled a few months ago. Then I was told that now I have to prove to them with a whole list of information that they require that I am credit worthy. What a lot of rubbish!!! How can Discovery Card make a decision and embarrass a potential client like this without having the correct facts???
You can take your card and shove it were the sun does not shine.
