I opened a claim due to my house flooding a week ago due to one of the contractors SA Homeloans Insurance previously used toreplace my geyser, they broke the wall open to allow for a bigger outlet pipe, but put this into my gutter. I have noticed bubbling appearing on my walls over the time, spent money to have people come check and seal my roof, then we had a massive storm some time back, and that flooded my house, I went up to make sure all the gutters were clear. The the stom about a 1.5 weeks ago, I had water pouring down my walls and my electrical points had water gushing out of them. I climbed into my sealing to see where all this water was coming from, and it is the outlet pipe hole they created, hidden to the world as it is covered by my gutters. So I open a claim, they tell me not to fix anything as they need to assess. I am a week into waiting for the assessors, we had another hectic storm last night, at 3am this morning I was taking buckets of water out in the dark, electricity has tripped. I phoned SAHL Insurance 3 times today to get some urgency, each time they promising me to get someone to call me, and nothing. Please can someone assist!
