I notified FNB Card (they manage Dicovery's cards) that I will be traveling abroad and that they need to make a note of it as I would be using my CC card overseas. It was acknowledged that this was done. When there, they blocked the card and I was stranded without a card. When I complained, A lets call him "useles" person phoned me, missed the complaint entirely as he did not read the email properly, did not acknowledge the real issue/complaint and insisted he investigated it even after I corrected him and his handling of the complaint. Needless to say that I have not yet had a resoltion to my complaint.
Be warned about relying on your Discovery card when traveling abroad.
