Internet banking / Homeloan Amount available R0

I opened a new home loan account with Absa towards the end of 2012. The flexi option is enabled on the account so that I can withdraw any additional payments I make into the account. I have made substantial additional payments into the account, but when I log on with internet banking the available balance is R0 and I can not transfer any funds from my home loan to my cheque account. After speaking to an Absa consultant over the phone, my wife and I went to the Hatfield branch in December and signed all the necessary documents to enable transfers from our home loan to my cheque account via internet banking. The lady that helped us said the person handling these request would only be back the next day, and that I should log in the next day to see if the problem was fixed. I did this, only to find that nothing has changed and that the available balance is still R0. I phoned Absa general enquiries, home loan and internet banking departments, but couldn't get any joy. I have feeling that I will have to visit a branch again to do exactly the same thing again (with exactly the same result).
