Mr Ebrahim Khan was the appointed SIAS Assessor to evaluate the damage to my vehicle. My request was that I want to use the vehicle until the spares arrive and then only want to make use of a rental car. Mr Ebrahim response was that he does not recommend that until we remove all the damage parts so that we can make a better decision.
I phone OutSurance to obtain permission to remove the damage parts. I must admit I was shock when we notice the extend of damage which was not visible from external side. If Ebrahim did not request the removal of damage parts I would never knew that the car chassis was tear away from the main body. The engine was latterly hanging on a few joints and there was also other safety components damage. I drove this vehicle from my home to HOFBRO Auto Body facility (35km). If I would drive the vehicle for more days with this unknown fault/damage it could result in that I may lost control of the vehicle due to a latent failure which consequently may result in loss of life.
