I called Alexander Forbes last month to cancel my policy, as much as I did not take the name of the guy who assisted me, he assured me that the policy was cancelled. I then sent an email to Linda Edwards who was my consultant on the 29 Octoer 13 asking her to ensure that the policy is cancelled and the premium does not go through on the 1st, explained to her that I have a new insurer. She replied sending me a cancellation of housing policy I had already cancelled. On the 1st the debit order went through, I called and sent her a bank statement. She referred the matter to Linda Mazibuko, instructing her to cancel the policy and arrange refund. I followed up with Linda but she referred me to Boitumelo (Tumi, I followed up with Tumi with no luck. I have been calling everday but I have nothing solid as yet. I called yesterday and spoke to a lady called Palesa, she promised to copy me on the mail to Tumi, nothing. Called her today & she told me Tumi has a lot of emails to go through, if how is that my problem, I don't know.
My policy is not cancelled since last month and I have not received refund. I am just helpless & disappointed with the service I received from Alexander Forbes.
