On the 2nd of Nov 13 I made an eft to an ABSA account. The member that I paid stated that he gave the wrong account information. I contacted the premium banking services to request a recall of the payment. I completed the required documentation and submitted it to the recall department as per instructions from the consultant. A few days later I received a mail stating that i must contact the fnbcard department. I forwarded all the documentation only to receive a reply a few days later to contact discovery card department. Again I received a reply stating I must contact ABSA. I did, only to be told to go back to my bank and ask, the recall department to submit the request as Absa cannot request a recall from my private capacity. I went back to the fnb recall department and the whole thing started over. I was sent from department to department.
