RECALL OF AMOUNT PAID TO INCORRECT LISTED BENEFICI

In April 14 2013, I paid (Internet banking) 1007.00 to a listed beneficiary whom I thought was Joshua Doore (have an account with), later it emerged that the listed beneficiary I used was "STUTTAFORDS" (never had an account with) as per information proved by Digital Dept.

I have contacted staturfoords as per proof of payment provided by ABSA digital department but the BOOKKEEPER verbally confirmed that the money was never paid in to their account.

I then revert back to ABSA, requesting money's to be recalled but I am not being directed to the to the correct department instead being told to call Stuttafords even though I have indicated to them that the said retailer claims that the money was never paid in to their account.

Can't ABSA bank recalled, as STUTTAFORDS as per my request? not take me from pillar to post?
