FNB - Not really helpfull

I applied for a FNB personal loan on Thursday 14 November 2013 and gave all my information including my current eployment details. I was asked told that all was in order, cedit check and affordability went well and was given terms and agreement of my loan. I was later asked to submit my latest payslip which I did and was informed by the consultant that all was in order and that payment would be made Friday morning. It hit 12pm and I had not received any payment, I phoned FNB and was told that my application is still being processed as they still verifying some details. I then phoned again and was told that my application is pending decline because I am not an FNB employee. This was shocking to me because I did not mention that I am an FNB employee and I gave them all my current employment details before they approved my loan so I was rather surpsrised. They then called the consultant that processed my application and he informed me that the application pulled through with my details when I was working at FNB. Consultant then told me that matter was referred to his team leader and that it would be sorted on Saturday 16/11/2013. I am still waiting for feedback.
