I was contacted and sold the idea of adding a transactional account on my profile because I have other FNB products by the above mentioned consultant. I told her about my previous woes I have had with FBN with my previous account that lead to me closing my account. She managed to convince me to return by selling me this "wonderful" account which is a saving account that has so much rewards such as ebucks. I even received an sms notification telling me I can now earn ebucks when making purchases after collecting my card. I was surprised not to see I am not earning anything when I checked my profile. I then contacted Ebucks and spoke to a gentleman named Emmanuel who advised that I had a savings account and would not earn any ebucks. I then phoned FNB to speak to supervisor and spoke to a consultant that was an helpful and had the gull to ask that I am willing to just cancel the account just because I am not going to earn Ebucks. The answer is yes its the principle that counts don't sell me and expect me to just accept and move on. You promised perks so deliver or cancel my account and give my money back simple!!!
