Brilliant marketing - hidden costs (dishonest bank

Horrible bank! After receiving bad service from Absa for many years I finally decide to move to FNB. In the process, I give up my priority pass card which allowed me access to Business lounges anywhere in the world, and locally. Moving to FNB from ABSA, I had to give up my international lounge access, as the FNB Platinum credit card only allows local access. ABSA's service was so bad that this was a trade-off I was willing to make. When I tried to visit the lounge in Cape Town a few weeks ago, I was told that I have to spend R5000 or more per month to gain access to the lounge, otherwise the visit would cost me R250. This was never communicated to me and is absolute rubbish. I am now going to cancel my FNB credit card, and I am now of the opinion that all banks are the same. Also fantastic that your monthly Platinum bank account fees went up from R120 pm to R135. Really, a 13% increase in one year? Last time I checked inflation was around 5%. Your marketing is brilliant, your customer service is just as bad as the rest. Thanks FNB, for tricking me to move to your bank. You will probably lose me soon
