Priority Pass - CLEARLY NOT!

After being a customer of ABSA for at least the last 20 years - probably one of the only benefits I get is the priority pass card. So to my delight when flying from Cape Town back to JHB this evening I remembered the Priority Pass Card (which I hardly ever use...). On arrival at the lounge we were very swiftly turned away as my priority pass card had expired at the end of July 2013. 1) I have up to date cheque and credit cards with the bank - but was told that I have to pay R154 to enter the lounge. 2) Why has ABSA not notified me that the card has expired or sent me a new card!!! Priority Pass my A@#! Really ABSA - and you wonder why people are migrating away from your bank to other banks such as FNB??!! Go figure...
