During the week of the 21st of October 2013 I called Nedbank/MFC as I realised that my vehicle finance account had been settled and was in credit. This was confirmed and I requested a letter confirming this, as well as the papers for the vehicle and a refund of the credit balance.
The letter confirming settlement and the vehicle registration papers were delivered to me by courier on 25 October 2013.
I've made numerous calls in order to have the refund processed.
I was given reference number DC20131030Q10120 on the 30th of October 2013 and had to log a complaint with reference number CCT513847 on 12 November 2013.
I received the attached email on the 13th of November 2013 confirming that the refund would be processed on the very same day.
I called Nedbank/MFC again today in order to confirm the refund amount and was advised that there is still outstanding documentation and the refund has not been processed. Having asked the agent as to what documentation as proof of banking details had been supplied, I was placed on hold for 15 minutes after which the call was terminated.
Please assist in having this matter resolved and the credit balance refunded
