I was involved in a accident and the insurance wrote off my vehicle. MFC was paid the outstanding balance on the 18th of September 2013. They however still debited my account on the 6th of October 2013. We have been trying to get the vehicles papers from MFC since the vehicle was settled but they said they first need the assessors report and photos of the vehicle. Since the vehicle has been settled I find it unacceptable that they don't want to give me the papers of the vehicle as it is not their property anymore. The insurance can not pay out the additional money to me without the papers and MFC is holding the process back. I need the payment which they illegally deducted as well as the papers of the vehicle. We will be reporting these illegal practices to the Ombudsman of Banking as well. Antoinette Marais
