Excerpts from the mail I sent - explains it all

After selecting the insurance @R260 after booking my online ticket, Travelguard/AIG pulls through the details from the actual ticket booking and STILL gets all my details wrong. The frustration and incompetence of both their website and call centre staff is unsurpassed. I have NEVER made so many calls and sent so many e-mails to resolve an issue. They were quick enough and got it right first time when debiting my Credit Card.
The problems are as follows:
1. The system pulled my DOB through as 12/11/1967. My actual DOB is 10/10/1967. 2. The system did not pull through either my ID number or my Passport number, which is and was supplied when booking the ticket. 3. The date of travel that it pulled through is that I leave SA on the 12/11/2013. That was the day that I booked the ticket and NOT the date of departure which is 24/11/13. My return date is 27/11/13. 4. I got a call from an agent to ask me which country is LOS. This is of course the abbreviation that the airlines use. Surely if a company is to Insure people, they should be know these terms? Lagos Nigeria. Not to mention the bad attitude O got when I called them to resolve. I got off the call feeling I was in the wrong??
