I made an online booking for a City to City bus ticket on Computicket. For some reason, the system selected a childs ticket and not an adult. This I only noticed when I went to collect the ticket. Upon phoning Translux to get this rectified, there has been nothing but problems!
Instead of upgrading my existing ticket to an adult, they insisted that I cancel my current ticket and do a new booking. Which was done. At no stage, did they tell me I can not collect the ticket at a computicket store. They also do not have a Translux branch in Paarl, where I live. I phoned them again today, stating that when I went to collect the ticket, the ref no was invalid. When I phoned to query this, not only was I told in a rude manor, that I have to collect it at a Translux branch, but I can not pay over the phone or do an immediate internet transfer. I have to go into a bank! Also, they booked the incorrect travel time!! I actually want them to go back and listen to the original recording!! I now also have to wait 2 weeks for the refund of my original ticket! Quick to take your money but dont want to pay you back!!
