I contacted Absa with a request for my UI-19 form. I called there HR call centre. The staff member instructed me to email. Jhbpayroll. Which I did, I did not receive a automatic reply and called payroll to request confirmation if they received my email. The lady refused to understand my request and just insisted that they will respond to my request upon reciept. Working in payroll myself I am aware that the email should have been acknowledged by a auto reply. Lady was very unhelpful and I then decided to wait. I only recieved a auto message later that night after 8pm.
The following day I received an email after 4pm asking when I went on maternity leave 8years ago???
My word, this information should have been on the system. Today is Wednesday and I have still not received any feedback.
I have replied to the person but it seems every reply I send creates a new reference number??? How am I suppose to contact the initial person supposedly dealing with my query.
