Absa
Threats of repossession of vehicle

My vehicles installments fell behind due to a financial crisis on my end. I am a small business owner business is not always easy. The amount in arrears was around R 6000 which was all paid up to date on the 26 September 2013. During this period we were continuously haunted and threatened by a certain Hans Combrink from ABSA. We notified him that all payments were up to date on the vehicle. We again made our next installment on the vehicle on the 9 October 2013 and yesterday being the 11/11/2013, we received a mail from the very same Hans Combrink with yet another threat. His mail states the following;

Please be advised that the Letter of Demand (sec .129 of the NCA), has now expired.
The current arrears is R3792.64 & the vehicle needs to be collected from you.??

Firstly, we never received any notice Letter of Demand (sec .129 of the NCA) which has expired??
Secondly, where does the amount of R 3792.64 come from when our installment is R 2500.00
Thirdly, the vehicle is only 12 days late with a single payment?? Why and how can ABSA threaten to prepossess a vehicle not even a full month behind?

Is this a case of another big company simply bullying a consumer? Not impressed ABSA
