Early in October I was contacted by the Nedbank Personal Loans collections to arrange that 1 and a half installment will be deducted off my account to assist me to get my account up to date. On 25 Oct 2013, 3 and a half installments were deducted off my cheque account (R9429). I contacted Nedbank collections on 31 Oct to enquire about the incorrect deductions. I was told that a refund will be returned within 24-48 hours. On Monday 4 Nov 2013, I contacted them again and was told that the request has been resubmitted. I requested to talk to a manager but the manager was not available. I contacted them again 11 Nov and after being transferred from one person to the other, I was informed that the refund is in process and will take 7 days, which is completely different from what I was told initially. I requested to speak to a manager again, and again they were unavailable. No one can give me clarity regarding the situation and this has had a significant negative impact on my financials as other debit orders was returned due to insufficient funds. This is now the 3rd bit incidence I've had with Nedbank which negatively affects my credit record!!!
