In January 2013 i took out a personal loan from Nedbank. the scheduled debit date for repayment was either on the 28th of each month, or after that should the 28th fall on a weekend. in March of 2013, Nedbank all of a sudden decided to debit my account on the 22nd, 6 days before the scheduled debit date. a result of this was that there was not enough money in the account to cover the debit, resulting in the transaction being returned unpaid. they then subsequently attempted to deduct the same amount a couple of times before the 28th, all without any success. eventually when my salary was paid into my account, Nedbank then deducted the amount owed, however they then deducted again on the same day. when i contacted the pernal loans department to sort this out i was given the run around. it eventually took more than a week to get a refund from Nedbank.
today i went into a cellc store to open a cell phone contract, and because of the returned transaction from Nedbank in March, i was declined, untill i could get a letter from Nedbank explaining this situation. when i contacted Nedbank, i was told that this would take 2 days. this is unacceptable as i feel i am being short changed again
