I applied for a personal loan, the lady who was assisting me made me so convinced that it will be approved. I later got a declined sms which did not bother me, what bothered me was the reason behind the declined because according to nedbank my October debit order was unpaid which is not true at all. Nedbank debited my account on the 18th of October although my agreement with them is that they debit on the 20th of every month. The reason behind it is what made me angry because even if it was unpaid, It would have been their mistake not mine! What is worse is that when I called the call centre and requested the consultant to see if my payments are up to date, which he confirmed that they are. I later requested to speak to his manager so that the issue is sorted out, he placed on hold for quiet a while and advised that the manager said that he will call me before close of business. I AM STILL WAITING. I need this sorted out as soon as Monday because I am really not a happy client. I do not understand how nedbank credit department make a decision based on what they see on the clients bank statement (looking at false information) and they do not look at their own statement. Angry!!
