On 12/14&15 October 2013 - 3 credit card transactions were processed in store, telephonic authorisation was obtained, card imprints were scratched, clients passport and front and back of the credit card was photocopied, all necessary measures were taken as the client is a foreign national. The bank on these 3 seperate occasions authorised the transactions and the payments were seemingly processed on the speedpoint machine, nearly one month later i am advised that the payments cannot be made as i have a scratched impression of the card is not valid and i should have used a zip zap machine which was only just delivered to my store this week, without that they mention i may not be paid - as it may be a case of. How on earth does this become my problem - i did everything i was suppossed to do and made contact with my bank - the calls are suppossed to be recorded - this is totally unacceptable and I therefore request that payments be made in full immediately to me with distress and inconvenience pay as i have done everything that was necessary and more! Do not tell me you cannot find the recordings or trace the authorisations - that ABSA is your problem - sort your clients out!
