Kindly help, l am a foreigner Quarter Permit Holder so it expired l applied for a renewal so its on process. Is it fair for ABSA to block my bank Account when l have all the proof that my Permit is on process and l already have the new TRP number for the new Permit.l am having serious problems with this bank and this is not the first time, l feel its unfair treatment to Foreigners. Ever since l got paid l haven't had access to my money l have bills, rent, accounts and my own upkeep with my family to take care of. PLiz Hello Peter help l get access to my money even if it means getting all ma money and start wit another bank. Its so unfair coz one of the consultants before my Permit expired enlightened me that l would only have access to my money on ATMs only just like other banks but funny enough l have also been blocked access to ATMs as well. L went to complain at first they unblocked and gave me access to atm and now its blocked again. Its so hectic and stressful Standardbank does not Block or stop people to access their money on renewal of Permits.
