I have been a Standard Bank client for over 10 Years and was a previous staff member for 6 Years. I am still in the banking industry and know exactly what customer service is all about. I am a Prestige client but this clearly means nothing to my Prestige Banker Bongi Matlhare. I applied for a credit card on Monday at Norwood branch with Khanyisile as whenever i try and get hold of my Prestige banker is always busy or unable to Assist. I went to Khanyisile and she advised that the matter will go to credit as my Itc exposure was incorrect. I e-mailed her all the supporting documents. I had to go back Yesterday to sign a reinstatement letter. I contacted the reinstatement department today and they said that no application has been recieved. Khanyi then contact me and said she send the documents yesterday already and when i asked her if she is fine she always says she is not good. I do not see the value in having a prestige account if the staff does not care about the customer. All i want is to have my credit card reinstated as i have provided all the documents. I have never ever recieved such unfriendly and unprofessional service from my bank. Please could someone call me
