I had called in the beginnng of October to change my banking details. I confirmed 3 times with the lady and she had acknowledged my new banking details. Secondly i had sent through confirmation. They call me today saying i have not paid my credit card installment. They were absolutely rude when i requested to speak to a manager, the guy slammed the phone down on me and said he will not put me through to a manager unless i tell him what i want to speak to the manager about. I mean are the consultants some sort of. I have never made a late payment in my life, whos fault is it that they did not load the debit order as i requested? Absa has always given me this type of treatment which is pathetic now i must pay late cahrges and for what? because the staff could not capture details. Please some advice never bank with ABSA you will want to scream if you do. I hope that someone can help me in this regard.
