Stop wasting my time! Today, Tomorrow, FOREVER!!!

Today, Tomorrow, FOREVER!!! This is how long it will take you to change something with ABSA!! I needed to change my banking details for my credit cards' debit order, I was informed that I needed to go in to a branch to this, I did this on the 26th of October at ABSA in the Irene Mall, so after waiting almost over half an hour in a queue the lady told me she had changed everything and I even confirmed the date with her! Now today I receive an sms that the debit order is still going off on my OLD banking account (Keep in mind there is no money in this account!!!) I work in the Financial sector and cannot afford to have a debit order bounce!!

Phoned the credit card department this morning, only to be told it was NEVER CHANGED!!! Now I need to send a bank statement to them in order to change it!! I WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THIS! They also do not accept a letter from my new bank with a stamp on or internet banking statements I NEED TO GO INTO THE BANK AGAING to get a STAMPED bank statement!!!

This is pathetic service ABSA get with the program and update your ways of banking! Have your consultants give the correct info the first time around!
