We applied for a further loan of R150k on our existing bond of R1.1mil. Our home is valued at R3.9mil. I was told that it was Approved in Principle and the valuator came out and assured me there was WAY more than R1m extra value in the property. I then heard nothing from the 16th May til today when I was notified that it had been declined because of ITC blacklisting! I got bot my husband and my ITC credit reports emailed to me and they are both perfectly clear! When I called back to query this again a different agent told me that it had been declined due to the application being incorrectly captured by the branch!!! Asking for R3500 instead or R150000. I'm at the branch now trying to find out what the is going on!
