Student banking made stupid banking at Absa!

I've been struggling to get my student account sorted for the last 3 years now. Absa keeps on billing me for use of my student credit card, Internet banking and other random charges! I'm supposed to pay a total of R16 in charges per month, but in December 2012 and January 2013 a total, in excess of R850, was taken from my account, only shown as "charges" or "fees". I've spoken to numerous consultants on various occasions and even tried to see the manager of the student bureau in Potchefstroom last week. I am however still waiting for his call, as he could not accommodate me. I am fed up with the pathetic service I've received from this bank and am looking into opening an account at another bank, I would however like to see any outstanding funds be returned to me, before closing the current account.
