I HAVE A CREDIT CARD WITH ABSA. FIRSTLY I COULD NOT SET UP A DEBIT ORDER WITH ABSA FOR THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH, THEN WHEN MY SALARY DATE CHANGED TO THE 25 TH OF EVERY MONTH I CAN NOW SETUP A DEBIT ORDER TO GO OFF ON THE 25 TH. BUT AFTER A 5 MIN CALL CENTRE CALL THE CONSULTANT INFORMED ME THAT IN ORDER TO SETUP A DEBIT ORDER, I HAVE TO GET N STAMPED BANK STATEMENT FROM MY FNB ACCOUNT WHERE THE DEBIT ORDER WILL BE PAID. THEN FAX THE DEBIT ORDER DETAILS TO THEM AND THEN ONLY THE DEBIT ODER COULD BE SETUP.
THIS IS A TOTALLY STUPID SYSTEM, ARE WE GOING BACK TO FAXES NOW, AND NOT USING TECHNOLOGY TO OUR BENEFIT OUR EXISTING CUMBERSOME PAPERWORK SAVING SOCIETY...
