Applied for a home loan in Sept which was approved end of Sept. Asked bank to just ammend the loan term. We are still waiting and it is now exactly 1 MONTH LATER??!!! Is this acceptable??? Attorneys are phoning us to ask whats going on since the paperwork were sent to the attorneys before we asked for the ammendment. Seller is also phoning us to find out whether we are still buying the house since nothing is happening we have not signed for anything yet because attorneys need the correct documents for us to sign. This is just ridiculous because i feel like 1 MONTH has been wasted on WAITING! Do banks realise the amount of stress they cause?? We could lose this house but they dont seem to care. I mean really how much work is it to just do the ammendmend??? Our bond originator has been so good in trying to get info out of them but still nothing! Please dont bother phoning me just ammend my loan term, thats all i am asking!
