We applied for a second bond on our house to do some home improvements. We've applied in January 2013. It is the middle of February 2013 and the bank can't decide if they approve or not. First the amount we applied for was declined and only 50% granted, then when we said we are not satisfied with the 50% they increased the loan amount which was acceptable. 3 Consultants have supposidly forwarded the instructions to the lawyers but they still have not received it. I have been phoning but get the same response every time: "Mam, we are going to forward everything today for the lawyers to process". Now i wonder what kind of circus the bank is if they can't even forward paperwork properly!!! How dissapointing that our home loan is at Standard Bank!
