PROOF OF ADDRESS NIGHTMARE

I applied for a new bank account online and was immediately approved. At first, I was able to send funds from the account. Then I noticed a hard hold was applied on the account, I contacted FNB and was told to visit my nearest branch with a copy of my ID. I then visited the Walmer Park branch in Port Elizabeth, where I was told to obtain a copy of my mother's ID book (owner of the address that I reside at), municipal bill no older than 3 months and a letter hand written by my mother to indicate that I am a tenant at her place of residence. I did this - this morning, at a different branch (Linton Grange, Port Elizabeth) and again was shown away and told that my mother would have to be with me when confirming my proof of address. I would not recommend to any person at this time.
