I have three vehicles currently insured with Momentum and wanted to add another vehicle today. I received a quotation in June this year, but had not bought the vehicle at the time, but did so now, hence needing insurance. I reported an incident two days ago to Momentum when another driver rolled her vehicle back and collided with mine. The damage was minor and the other party will be settling the cost of repair out of her own pocket. Because of this incident, my quotation now is higher because of my CLAIM! I did not claim, I have NEVER claimed from insurance for the more than almost thirty years that I have been driving. I merely advised my insurer of what happened and now I am being penalised for this. How unfair is this? So guess what? I am getting another insurance company to take over my four vehicles and will cancel with Momentum within the next few days. Can my claims history not be tracked? Am I not a worthy client to have on your books? Clearly not. So you are not the company I would like to have take care of my vehicles. Period.
