I lodged a claim with my insurance on 23 October for my phone that was damaged. I dont mind if they replace it however it took until today for no resolution again as the claim is still open. I requested them to pay the amount my phone was insured for into my bank account as I went and bought a new so I dont need a replacement anymore. Their response to my request is sorry you bought a new phone and that was your choice... NO it wasnt, I wouldnt have bought a new phone if my claim was resolved quicker... SOOO it was not my choice. I hereby still stand by my request to get paid out for the phone instead of replacing it as what the do I want to do with two phones... I will cancel my policy and go elsewhere if this is the service I get
