HI THERE,
I HAVE BEEN WITH AUTOPAGE CELLULAR SINCE THE VERY FIRST YEAR I STARTED WORKING, YEAR 2000 SO I HAVE BEEN LOYAL TO AUTOPAGE FOR 13 YEARS NOW. I WAS INSURED FOR R10 000.00 IN THE EVENT THAT MY CELL PHONE WAS DAMAGED/LOST/.
I HAVE ALWAYS HAD INSURANCE WITH AUTOPAGE FOR MY CELL PHONE AND THIS IS MY FIRST INSURANCE CLAIM IN 13 YEARS. MY PHONE WAS WHILE I WAS ON HOLIDAY IN DURBAN LAST MONTH.
I REPORTED IT TO AUTOPAGE, AND STARTED PROCESSING THE CLAIM WHEN I GOT BACK FROM MY HOLIDAY ONLY TO BE TOLD AND EMAILED, THAT I HAVE A FEW PHONES FROM WHICH I CAN CHOOSE, THE LIST CONTAINS 6 PHONES ON IT ONLY! I DON'T PARTICULARLY CARE FOR ANY OF THEM, AND KNOW THERE MUST BE HUNDREDS OF PHONES ON THE MARKET WORTH R10 000.00 RIGHT?
IN ANY CASE, I WAS INSURED FOR A VALUE OF R10 000.00 NOT FOR A SHORT LIST OF PHONES THAT MAY OR MAY NOT SUIT ME.
ALL I WANT IS FREEDOM OF CHOICE OF ANY PHONE TO THE VALUE OF R10 000.00 OR LESS OF COURSE, NOT MORE. THAT WAS WHAT I WAS INSURED FOR. THE CHOICE OF PHONE IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME. I AM A BUSINESS OWNER AND NEED A GREAT PHONE, FOR EMAILS, INTERNET, PHOTOS ETC AS I AM IN THE INTERIOR DESIGN FIELD.
THIS IS NOT FAIR. HELP PLS
