I had a standard bank rcl account that was handed over and defaulted after 1 missed payment coz I was in unpaid maternaty leave and sent an affidaVid as the call centre told me 2. Ok yes I was handed over I didn't take it up but after a year I paid the account in full got a settlement letter and proof account closed yet they stull debiting montly the attorneys at nimblets or whatever are so rude when I told them girl told me its not there problem I must call standard bank yet they had the account and told me its mtn not standard bank I don't even have a tn account went to standard bank many times and noone can assist so I have to accept the debits till they decide to update that's 300 per month after I fully paid the account... they quick to call and blacklist when u owe them not when they owe u u have to wait 21 days for a reversal that will bad reflect ur account like u have a hopped debit not even a refund for incorrect debit so much for keeping my name clean. Also had a credit card paid up more then a year ago I still get letters and calls regarding still get charged when I query branch say call call centre and call centre say go in to bank so many standard bank issues. Angry
